Correção do Fator de Potência (PFC) é um dispositivo semicondutor projetado para alinhar o ângulo de fase para que ele se aproxime de zero entre a tensão e a corrente em um circuito de corrente alternada (CA). Os diferentes modos são corrente média, condução de limite, condução contínua, condução crítica, redução de frequência controlada por corrente, modo descontínuo e condução descontínua com chaveamento de frequência ajustável de 6 kHz a 1,7 MHz.
