Recently, it was reported that Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) has successfully acquired Flex Logix. According to information published on Flex Logix's official website, the company has sold its technology assets to a large publicly traded company, confirming that ADI is the buyer.

Flex Logix, headquartered in the United States, is a semiconductor startup founded in 2014. Since its inception, the company has focused on providing leading embedded Field Programmable Gate Array (eFPGA), Digital Signal Processing/Software-Defined Radio (DSP/SDR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) inference solutions for semiconductor and systems companies. Its eFPGA technology allows seamless integration of FPGA structures into System-on-Chip (SoC) and Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designs, significantly reducing FPGA costs and power consumption while increasing computational density. This technology has significant implications for communications, networking, data centers, and microcontrollers.

An ADI spokesperson stated, "With the acquisition of Flex Logix, ADI can significantly enhance our digital portfolio, further supporting our mission to help customers solve the most challenging problems."

Gregory Bryant, ADI's Executive Vice President and President of Business Units, posted on LinkedIn to welcome the Flex Logix team: "This team is a leader in eFPGA technology, and they join us as we continue our journey to lead the intelligent edge. Flex Logix's eFPGA technology is a key building block that enables us to build differentiated platforms and help solve our customers' biggest challenges."
