On December 5, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) announced that the application for Rongda Photovoltaic’s private placement of securities has been accepted.

According to the company’s prospectus, Rongda Photovoltaic plans to raise up to 244 million yuan through a simplified process, which will be used to fund the construction of high-end photoresist dry film for circuit boards, improve the R&D capabilities of IC substrate solder mask dry film and semiconductor photoresist, as well as supplement working capital.

Rongda Photovoltaic highlighted that the dry film used for circuit boards is mainly applied in the PCB and semiconductor industries. In recent years, with the rapid development of these sectors, the photoresist dry film market has also expanded. Since the 21st century, the global production capacities for PCB, display, and semiconductor industries have gradually shifted to Asia, especially Mainland China, driving the rapid growth of domestic demand in the upstream supply chain.
